Built for the G20 Summit in Rio de Janeiro, this bench travelled half way round the world to be part of a group exhibit coinciding with the summit. The bench is a showcase for reclaimed materials, with French Oak wine barrel staves and steel, and features a colourful collaboration with graphic artist, Charles John.
Bought by a private buyer on auction, after the summit concluded, this bench has found a permanent home back in Cape Town.
Made from reclaimed French Oak barrel staves, finished with natural oils, mild steel and steel bolts.
Dimensions: 1400 x 500 x 800mm
